Dear Sirs,
With reference to the application by Taza Take Away at 35a Queensway, W2 4QJ for an extension of their trading hours, we, the residents of the Bayswater Residents Association, unanimously object to such a proposal.
Queensway and its surrounding streets are mostly residential, including a lot of families with children.
“Take away” shops are not conducive to the welfare of the local residents and Queensway, itself, is already full of “discarded litter” from throwaway rubbish from the existing takeaways.
The noise pollution the extra trade will cause at 1 am and 2 am will be intolerable.
The noise from the delivery motor bikes waiting their turn is bad enough as it is, considering that they never turn their engines off. Any attempts from our side to convince them to turn their engines off have been met with aggression and threats.
We appeal to your common sense to reject this controversial application.
Regards,
John Yiannakis
Committee Member
Bayswater Residents Association
